Good Morning Christopher!

I have a suggestion that I will pass by you before I post. Incentives are what keeps long term employers. I think the whole vacation time should be looked at a little more. From my understanding after 7 years of employment you get 3 weeks vacation and then no more, 3 weeks tops. I think another week should be added. Most companies give you 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years. They also throw in 5 days of paid personal days, if they don’t do the 4th week of vacation.

With things like this I'd like to run it by the Achilles group because they work with so many companies that they've got a sense of what they call "best practices." As with any benefit plan change we have to do some analysis, but I assure you that we will do it quickly. I agree with you about wanting to have policies and benefits that reward (and encourage) loyalty and retention. I'll update the blog about your suggestion. Best, c.
