Mr. Brown

As you may be aware, my dad had a minor stroke in Dallas last Thursday.

On a scale of 1 to 10 this event was a 1. He has no paralysis, but he is having some difficulty finding some of the words that he wants to say. As you can imagine this is frustrating to him, but otherwise he's the same Mr. Brown he's always been.

He is receiving medical care in Dallas now and will be released as soon as his blood pressure and medication levels are acceptable. Once he's back in Houston he will begin a regimen of speech therapy as part of his recovery plan.

I will keep you updated on his status with regular updates here on We Are SPL.

Otherwise, as Mr. Brown always says to me, "...let's get back to work."
