This is how we roll at Petrolane (admin note - the Houston, TX Field Office is called Petrolane because the street address is 110 South Petro Lane)!!

I saw this quote today and I thought it might be something nice to add to the blog. Just thought it might help remind us of why we are all here.
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises.
He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him.
He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it.
He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it.
We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.

Have a great week!

Hello everyone,
I want to let you know that the SPL Board of Directors has decided to close our fabrication facility in Dallas, TX. We will work over the coming weeks to complete the projects that we have in house, but we will not be taking new fabrication orders for the Dallas plant.
It is disappointing when a business venture does not flourish, but as a management team we will learn from our experience and mistakes in this situation and apply that knowledge to the rest of the company.
SPL will continue to expand our core businesses of measurement and laboratory services as well as consulting, auditing, and allocation services.
Thank you to the clients that have sent us work and to the staff that performed that work. I wish you all the best in the future.
Yours,
c.

Hi Everyone...
post by Angela Baez in the Houston Hydrocarbon Lab
Yesterday was my official first day back from maternity leave so consider this a warm hello and warning that trouble has found her way back home to the hydrocarbon department!
I missed my SPL family very much and know they missed me too, even if they choose not to admit it!!
I am ready to get back to work and looking forward to playing my position on our very awesome hydrocarbon team. Please don't hesitate to call if I can be of service to you.
Below is a picture of the baby, he's sweet as can be. Him name is Solomon Paul Baez and he's 2 1/2 months old now.
Good luck to Hailey and the 98 Texas Aces
